Sr Legal Receptionist

Job SummaryThe Sr. Legal Receptionist is a key point of contact for both visitors and clients, providing front-desk support in a professional office environment. This role is responsible for managing inbound calls, greeting and directing office visitors, scheduling meetings, and maintaining daily activity records. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have a customer service-oriented approach. This position requires a professional demeanor and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Inbound Call Management: Answer and direct inbound calls, ensuring they are routed to the appropriate department or individual.
- Visitor Reception: Greet and check in office visitors, providing clear directions and guidance as needed. Maintain a professional and welcoming front desk presence.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate conference room meetings, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made, including meeting space and any required equipment.
- Activity Reporting: Update daily office activities using spreadsheets or other tools to ensure accurate record-keeping and smooth office operations.
- General Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative duties such as routing calls, managing schedules, and providing support to other office teams as directed.
Physical Requirements:
- Walk throughout the office periodically, with no lifting required beyond 50 pounds.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and visitors.
- Previous experience in a customer service role within a professional office setting, particularly in a legal or corporate environment, is highly preferred.

- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and stay organized.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk throughout the office periodically; lifting of no more than 50 pounds.
