They are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Litigation Attorney to join their team and take on the exciting challenge of managing a substantial caseload. In this role you will handle cases with minimal supervision, have significant experience with the litigation process, handling discovery, motion practice and depositions. You will have the invaluable opportunity to work closely with seasoned senior attorneys, honing your legal skills and making a real impact.
Your responsibilities will encompass a range of vital tasks including drafting legal documents, facilitating the discovery process, and conducting thorough legal research.
Responsibilities:
- Help in creating legal papers such as motions and pleadings
- Aid in the discovery process by conducting depositions, sending interrogatories, and examining documents
- Engage in negotiations for settlements
- Carry out legal research
- Attend court hearings when required
- Conduct first meetings with potential clients
Requirements and Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Florida Bar
- Litigating experience (6-8 years)
- Stable work history
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical skills
