Manufacturing Sales Representative

Our client (located in the greater New Haven CT area), a leader in manufacturing is seeking an experienced manufacturing outside sales representative to join their growing team. 3+ years in manufacturing sales (electronic/electro-mechanical) is required for this role
- Base salary $80,000-$95,000 plus incentives and a company vehicle
- Every other Friday off
- Generous PTO, benefits, and 401K offered
- Once trained, you only need to go into the office 1 day per week
What experience is needed for this role?
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet targets, grow the customer base, and increase revenue through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
- Manage and expand existing customer accounts by understanding their needs, delivering tailored solutions, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Conduct product presentations, negotiate contracts, and close sales to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Travel up to 50% domestically, with occasional trips to Canada and Mexico, to engage clients and pursue new business opportunities, passport needed.
- Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, manage customer data, and report on performance.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions while attending industry events and trade shows.
- 3+ years in manufacturing outside sales
