Responsibilities of Customer Service Representative and Sales Development Representative include, but are not limited to:

  • Prospect and Qualify Leads: Identify potential customers through outbound cold calling, email campaigns, and social media engagement to establish a pipeline of prospective accounts.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule and confirm meetings for the outside sales team, ensuring a seamless handoff of qualified leads.
  • CRM Management: Diligently log and update lead information, interactions, and follow-ups in the company’s CRM system to ensure accurate reporting and lead tracking.
  • Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate their value proposition and address common customer objections.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on outreach strategies and maximize the effectiveness of outreach campaigns.
  • Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed weekly and monthly metrics, including number of calls, meetings scheduled, and qualified opportunities passed to the sales team.
  • Responding to customer inquiries regarding company products and services.
  • Processing customer phone orders.
  • Checking availability of stock and shipping dates.
  • Quoting prices, filling orders to customer specifications and processing sales data via computer.
  • Assisting the outside sales team by preparing price quotes and sourcing products.

Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative and Sales Development Representative include, but are not limited to:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Should be enthusiastic and able to work independently.
  • Must have experience performing a majority of the functions.
  • Prior inside sales/customer service experience.
  • Data entry skills, organization, multi-tasking and customer focus is required.
  • Regular in-person is attendance required.
    • Normal business hours Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
