We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Supervisor/Manage. This role focuses on delivering professional Payroll services while ensuring the accurate and timely deposit to employees. You will be working closely with members of the Human Resources and Finance teams, as well as interacting with various 3rd party vendors.


Responsibilities:

• Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees, ensuring timely delivery.

• Oversee garnishment, employee tax, and deduction processing.

• Address and resolve employees' payroll-related queries and concerns.

• Oversee and respond to internal and external audits related to employees, payroll, and/or benefits.

• Direct the administration of the 401(k) Retirement Plan, Leave Of Absence tracking, & Time and Labor management.

• Establish controls and auditing practices to ensure regulatory compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.

• Audit employee and employer tax data within HRIS system, identifying and correcting discrepancies prior to quarter-end filings.

• Reconcile quarterly tax returns to HRIS system.

• Verify all employee W-2s at year-end, handle corrective W-2Cs and amendments.

• Work directly with vendors as needed for troubleshooting and evaluation of system updates.

• Establish and maintain end-to-end reporting requests, creation, and processes.

• Establish and oversee payroll processing guidelines, policies, and procedures.

• Analyze sensitive data to support various needs within the department confidentially and securely.

• Prepare files for Accounting: General Ledger, Headcount/Census reports, PTO Accruals, etc.

• Direct, train & supervise the work of the Payroll team, setting established practices and priority of workload.

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a payroll supervisor or manager role within the Manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is essential
• Familiarity with Crystal Reports is required
• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration is a must
• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is necessary
• Auditing skills are essential
• Experience in Benefit Functions is required
• Proficiency in Workday is necessary
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel is essential
