Key ResponsibilitiesYour Primary Responsibilities will include
  • Processing weekly payroll; review timesheet data for accuracy and allowable hours
  • Calculate and process various employee bonuses, reimbursements, and withholdings
  • Initiate weekly payments of withholdings including, taxes, 401K, FSA contributions, child support, garnishments, etc.
  • Generate weekly productivity reports and distribute to management
  • Maintain compliance with tax law including federal and multi-state registration, regulations, and filings
  • Prepare and process all Quarterly and Annual payroll tax returns
  • Manage and reconcile bank accounts
  • Prepare and process monthly sales tax returns
  • Compile and analyze financials to prepare and record journal entries to the general ledger
  • Provide year-end support for audit requirements
  • Analyze current payroll policies and procedures and recommend best practices for efficiency and accuracy
  • Provide support to Accounts Receivable for cash receipt entries, corporate insurance, as needed
  • Provide support to Accounts Payable for daily cash reporting, as needed
  • Perform additional assignments, as directed by the Corporate Accountant and/or Controller

Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseWhat you'll need
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Payroll and Accounting experience
  • Understanding of multi-state tax registration, regulations, and filings a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook, with Access a plus
  • Excellent problem solving/judgment and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
  • Good organization skills with the ability to prioritize work ensure deadlines are met
  • Full Time Position that requires minimum of 40 hours per week with possibility of overtime
