Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Palm Desert, California. This role is within the Government sector and includes a variety of administrative tasks. The workplace is based in our main office, where you will be assisting with reception duties.

Responsibilities:
• Providing reception support, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and callers
• Utilizing MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
• Performing data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• Typing various documents and correspondence with a speed of 45-60 WPM
• Maintaining a good driving record for potential office-related errands
• Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed within the office.• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant within the Government sector
• Proficient in Administrative Office practices and procedures
• Strong skills in MS Word and MS Excel
• Experience with Data Entry tasks
• Typing speed between 45 - 60 WPM
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Knowledge of governmental operations and procedures
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proactive problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent education level
