Job DescriptionJob Description

As a Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) Medical Coordinator, where you will play a vital role in managing and updating the status of all incoming, outgoing, and internal referral orders created by providers using advanced electronic tracking tools within our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, Health Information Exchange (HIE) platforms, apps, and work queues.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and track referral orders using clinic EMR systems, HIE tools, and work queues.

  • Coordinate and prepare medical forms, including labs, radiology, and procedure reports.

  • Accurately document referral status and progress, ensuring that all necessary authorizations are obtained.

  • Support healthcare providers by ensuring referral requests are handled efficiently to maintain patient care continuity.

  • Communicate effectively with patients and external healthcare providers, ensuring patient needs are met.

  • Follow all organizational policies and procedures while upholding our core values of Compassion, Service, Quality Care, Respect, and Dignity.

 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years in medical referrals.

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Health Information Exchange (HIE) platforms.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to ensure timely patient care.

  • Bilingual in Spanish



Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
