Job Summary

True Vine Concepts LLC is seeking a skilled Medical Referral Specialist to play a vital role in our healthcare team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling referrals, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with insurance providers to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist providers with examination and treatment of patients, handling referrals, and scheduling appointments.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently in our electronic medical record system.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers to obtain necessary authorizations and ensure prior approvals.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and referral sources to ensure timely and efficient care.
  • Perform administrative duties, including patient registration, verification of benefits, and insurance authorizations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of an accredited healthcare program, such as Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT, or equivalent work experience.
  • Nationally recognized certifications, such as CMA, preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, with experience in EMR systems a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on referrals and scheduling.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with frequent communication with patients, providers, and referral sources.
  • Occasionally required to lift and move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift and move more than 25 pounds.
