Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitors and processes incoming quote requests, reserving and evaluating new business submissions.
2. Scans, indexes, and routes underwriting documents into appropriate business workflows.
3. Analyzes reports from NCCI and state bureaus to identify changes in experience ratings, merit, and risk IDs, updating or assigning as necessary.
4. Maintains and updates ImageRight files, oversees document imports, and collaborates with IT to troubleshoot and resolve import system issues.
5. Reviews and approves print files for outgoing policy documents to ensure they meet company standards.
6. Prepares and dispatches special handling documents, adhering to all mailing protocols.
7. Tracks and processes returned mail, ensuring timely resolution.
8. Safeguards archived documents, ensuring secure storage and destruction practices.
9. Assists with various special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; one year of administrative experience is preferred. Previous experience in the insurance sector is advantageous.
  • Proficient typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy, along with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including Windows, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
