Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Paraprofessional to join our team in a Portland, Maine school district. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers and specialists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and promote positive behavior management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement IEPs and support students with special needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to promote positive behavior management
  • Provide educational support to students in a K-12 setting

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Ed Tech Certification
  • Prior experience working with special education students
  • Mild/moderate/severe experience highly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff

Interview Process:

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with district

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
