Cloud Sales Director

Job Summary
The Director of Cloud Acquisition will lead the development and execution of strategies to maximize revenue production in the cloud space via net new acquisitions. This role will oversee a team of Cloud sellers, responsible for lead generation, pipelining, nurturing, and developing a consistent funnel of cloud opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to drive net new logo acquisition in new markets
- Lead a team of Cloud sellers to achieve sales targets and improve sales performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate key risk factors within the cloud portfolio
- Partner with RapidScale leadership to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field, or 14 years' experience in a related field in lieu of degree
- 5+ years' experience in a management or leadership role building up a team to drive net new logo acquisition
- Deep sales leadership experience and understanding in the public cloud technology space
