We are pleased to present an opportunity for a Terrorism Analysis Specialist to support critical client requirements in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The Terrorism Analysis Specialist will receive training to assist in watchlist management and screening processes. This includes the reception, triage, review, and processing of terrorist information and nominations from various U.S. Government entities. The Specialist will scrutinize terrorism-related information from nominations to ensure compliance with established criteria, standards, and policies. Recommendations regarding the nomination and watchlisting process will be a key responsibility, alongside supporting quality assurance and quality control reviews of nominations.

In the realm of Screening & Vetting, the Specialist will be tasked with evaluating individuals seeking entry into the U.S. by reviewing non-immigrant and immigrant visa applications against TIDE and other Intelligence Community databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing appropriate tools and analytical techniques to assess, analyze, and integrate relevant identity information to uncover foreign traveler connections to terrorism for State Department adjudication and watchlisting purposes.
  • Employing call chain analysis methods to identify relationships, patterns, trends, indicators, and warnings to highlight and report counter-terrorism intelligence gaps.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in analyzing intelligence reports and communications.
  • Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks, adapt quickly, and meet evolving mission requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with Intelligence Community tools and databases.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Knowledge of Intelligence Community organizations, policies, procedures, and requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A Bachelor’s degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience is typically required. Relevant experience may substitute for educational qualifications.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is between $68,000 and $124,550. This range serves as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation or salary. Additional factors influencing the offer may include job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and internal equity, as well as market alignment and applicable regulations.
