We are seeking a highly skilled Program Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the Director of Administrative Services in managing Business Office functions, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing pre-award functions, including proposal and budget development, to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage post-award tasks, including project reconciliation and budget reporting, to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Process accounts payable items through our financial system, ensuring timely and accurate payment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Two years of experience in administrative staff work, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Required Skills:
    • Basic knowledge of research methods and data analysis.
    • Proficiency in office automation software and equipment operation.
    • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Familiarity with pre-award functions and experience with budgeting/forecasting.
    • Excel proficiency and knowledge of federal regulations.
    • Familiarity with our financial systems, including KFS, KR, and PHR.
