Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Vice President of Family Services will lead and manage the statewide operations of Brightpoint's Child Welfare Services, aligning with the organization's policies and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
The Senior Vice President will:

  • Oversee all Child Welfare Services, including Foster Care and Family Support, ensuring adherence to agency policies and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a primary administrative support for program staff during the absence of Directors and key personnel.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and Quality & Training departments to ensure compliance with personnel policies.
  • Drive high-quality service delivery through the implementation of best practices and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Work alongside the Chief Operating Officer and Finance Department to develop and monitor budgets.
  • Engage with Development and Finance teams to liaise with funders and prepare comprehensive programmatic reports.
  • Ensure training and development needs of staff are met in accordance with performance standards.
  • Assess community needs and align them with the agency's goals and objectives.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master of Social Work degree or an equivalent advanced degree in human services, along with relevant experience in child welfare.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to innovate and lead in the development of child and family welfare programs.
  • A strong commitment to advocating for child and family well-being at all levels.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, fostering an inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives.
  • A passion for the mission of Brightpoint, inspiring others to contribute to the organization's goals.

Compensation
The compensation for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience, with a salary range of $140,000 - $150,000, inclusive of comprehensive benefits.
