We are on the lookout for a Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations to enhance our leadership team.
The SVP of Operations will oversee the sales initiatives and operational excellence across the hotels in their designated portfolio.
This role requires inspiring and empowering our General Managers and team members to adopt a proactive approach, ensuring that our guests receive an unparalleled experience.
Your leadership will be pivotal in establishing Midas Hospitality as a frontrunner in the industry.Key Responsibilities:
- Travel regularly to the hotels within your portfolio.
- Lead and support hotels to achieve desired outcomes in revenue, guest satisfaction, profitability, and employee engagement.
- Ensure adherence to brand standards and facilitate the timely implementation of new brand initiatives.
- Cultivate strong relationships with third-party owners and Midas Capital.
- Conduct monthly reviews and reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Participate in revenue management discussions.
- Achieve success with brand standards assessments, ensuring scores are within acceptable ranges.
- Maintain superior guest satisfaction scores across key brand categories.
- Recruit, train, and mentor new General Managers and Directors of Sales.
- Conduct thorough and documented hotel visits.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to team members.
- Hold Area General Managers accountable for performance.
- Champion the Midas culture throughout the organization.
- Conduct performance reviews for General Managers.
- Collaborate with Midas corporate staff and hotel support teams.
- Lead the budgeting process with each General Manager.
- Analyze and interpret financial statements effectively.
- Support new hotel acquisitions and openings.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage multiple brands and initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 3-5 years of experience in a regional or multi-unit operations role, with a focus on various hotel brands.
- Proven track record of success in the hospitality sector.
- 8-10 years of overall experience in the industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience as a Full-Service General Manager is essential.
- Experience overseeing multiple full-service hotels is required.
- Willingness to relocate as necessary.
- Background in the Food & Beverage sector is a plus.
- A degree in Hospitality or Business Management, or equivalent experience.
