Join Morrison Healthcare in a unique role where you will be responsible for providing community support services to our team members.

We are seeking an experienced professional to conduct needs assessments and connect team members with resources for housing, food, legal services, mental health care, and more.

This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work well under time constraints, and experience in healthcare.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Health Education or a related field, preferably with two years of experience in healthcare.

As a Community Support Specialist at Morrison Healthcare, you will:

  • Conduct and analyze needs assessment data to understand social determinants of health
  • Utilize Prisma Health's LiveWell platform to connect team members in need of support and resources
  • Act as a partner and ally for team members completing applications for assistance and/or benefit enrollment
  • Liaise between team members and emergency care funds to assist in getting financial approval for emergency circumstances
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners to best assist team members with needed resources
  • Communicate with team members' department managers to ensure proper support for team members
  • Conduct educational sessions on whole-person health and follow up meetings with teammates to ensure continued stability and track program successes and opportunities
