About This Opportunity

This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of substance abuse and mental health treatment. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field and be licensed as a clinical addictions specialist or provisionally licensed by the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments, diagnoses, and evaluations for adult patients with substance use disorders.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address the needs of adult patients.
  • Provide consultation, screening, and referral services for adolescents and children with substance use disorders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, staff, and community resources.
Requirements
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
  • Licensure as a clinical addictions specialist or provisional licensure by the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board is required.
  • At least three years of experience post-Masters in a human services field, preferably in a clinical setting, or five years of experience in a non-clinical setting.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
