Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the calendar and daily operations of the executive leadership, prioritizing tasks and coordinating responses to staff actions within set deadlines.
- Provide additional support to the Organization Senior Functional and other executive staff members.
- Utilize a variety of software applications, including Defense Travel System (DTS) and Microsoft DAF365, to troubleshoot issues and complete both standard and complex assignments.
- Offer insights regarding the performance of clerical and program assistant personnel within the executive office.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events, facilitating engagements with senior stakeholders and distinguished visitors.
- Generate various recurring reports, charts, and documentation as required.
- Analyze, develop, and implement inter-office procedures and standards to enhance workflow and administrative processes.
- Plan, organize, and manage all phases of projects to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain an updated list of assigned tasks to ensure proper follow-up and closure.
- Coordinate and schedule classified meetings as necessary.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall efficiency of the executive office's administrative operations.
- Track and manage documentation and staff packages for necessary approvals.
- Familiarity with computer-based travel systems for creating travel authorizations and making necessary reservations is essential.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens with a high school diploma or GED, and possess a minimum of ten years of relevant experience, including at least three years in executive administrative support within the Department of Defense or related industries. A Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one is required.
