Position Overview:

The Ambulatory Service Center Registered Nurse II (ASC RN II) at NorthBay Health is entrusted with the critical responsibility of providing safe, effective, and high-quality nursing care. This role is essential in ensuring that patient care aligns with the overarching philosophy and objectives of the Ambulatory Service Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patient progress towards health goals.
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
  • Deliver care tailored to the unique physiological, developmental, and psychosocial needs of each patient.

Educational Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is mandatory.

Licensure and Certifications:

  • Possession of a valid RN license issued by the State of California.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or an equivalent organization.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required within six months of employment.
  • Telemetry certification must be obtained within three months of hire.

Experience:

  • Preferred experience includes six months to one year in acute care or ambulatory surgery settings.

Compensation Package:

  • Hourly salary range commensurate with experience, with a maximum of $80.60.
  • Additional generous shift differentials are available.
  • A 15% differential is applicable for both external and internal applicants with Per Diem status.
