POSITION:

The Fitness Studio Sales Leader plays a crucial role in achieving and surpassing studio revenue objectives and new membership sales goals. This is accomplished through strategic community engagement, in-studio lead generation, and fostering member referrals.

Reporting to the Franchise Owner and General Manager, and supported by the Corporate BODYFIT Support Team, the Sales Leader is expected to demonstrate exceptional leadership in sales.

Sales Leaders must cultivate strong relationships with both prospective and existing members to enhance brand loyalty and member retention. This role is deeply rooted in sales and marketing while promoting our mission to create an energetic and communal fitness experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 years in fitness membership sales or related recurring service sectors
  • Proven sales expertise
  • Confidence in driving personal sales and training team members on effective sales techniques
  • Ability to manage and optimize two revenue streams: memberships and retail
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and digitally
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and diverse environment
  • Skill in identifying improvement opportunities and implementing sound judgment
  • A genuine passion for fitness
  • Strong writing and grammar proficiency
  • Highly organized with adept data management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Professional demeanor, punctuality, reliability, and neatness
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and the public
  • Proficiency in computer systems, CRMs, POS, and other studio management software

DUTIES:

  • Align with studio ownership on daily, weekly, and monthly revenue targets
  • Generate leads through grassroots marketing, external outreach, and community networking
  • Implement a structured sales process to schedule prospects for introductory classes
  • Drive membership sales, addressing objections and following up with prospects
  • Oversee staff scheduling and ensure accountability for daily key performance indicators
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with all vendors
  • Audit the sales process to ensure adherence to best practices
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in the sales process and develop training programs to enhance team skills
  • Ensure studio retail products are adequately stocked with accurate inventory
  • Supervise, train, and develop the Sales Associate team
  • Demonstrate proficiency in ClubReady, the CRM system
  • Ensure all administrative and studio supplies are well-stocked
  • Schedule and participate in lead generation and networking events
  • Strategically manage marketing initiatives to achieve lead generation goals for the studio
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned
