Intake Specialist Opportunity

Heard and Smith, LLP is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Intake Specialist to join our team. As the first point of contact for potential clients, you will play a critical role in guiding them through the Social Security Disability (SSD) and/or Social Security Income (SSI) application process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with prospective clients and ensure their confidence in our firm
  • Manage a high-volume call center environment, taking 150-200 calls per day
  • Sign up 4 new cases per day and meet occupancy and adherence goals
  • Maintain a minimum call quality score of 90%
  • Proactively contact clients to ensure the relationship is maintained and resolve any issues that may arise
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; degree preferred
  • Call center and customer service experience
  • Strong people skills and excellent telephone, communication, and active listening skills
  • Ability to meet performance standards in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of computer technology and the Internet, including MS Office and Outlook
  • Minimum 40 WPM typing speed and multi-tasking skills
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent spelling and grammar
  • Self-motivated, self-disciplined, and able to work with little supervision
  • Reliability and dependability, with a professional manner and high energy level
Work Environment:

As a remote Home Office Intake Specialist, you will work from the comfort of your own home office, equipped with a computer, camera, and fast internet connection. You will be expected to maintain a quiet, private workspace with no distractions during business hours.
