Overview:
The Player's Club Guest Relations Specialist serves as a representative of excellence in customer service for Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort.

The primary mission, duties, and responsibilities of the Guest Relations Specialist focus on professionalism, friendly interactions, and maintaining compatibility with both external and internal guests at all times.

Proficiency in verbal and non-verbal communication skills is essential in this highly visible role. The Guest Relations Specialist upholds the highest standards of propriety in accordance with company and departmental expectations. These standards include honesty, integrity, ethical behavior, loyalty, and personal and professional traits that must be demonstrated consistently. Additionally, the Guest Relations Specialist is expected to make timely decisions that affect the Players Club and Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort, aiming to foster brand loyalty with every guest interaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify and engage new guests on the casino floor for the Dreamcatcher's Club.

2. Establish and manage player accounts.

3. Distribute point vouchers, modify points, adjust Promo Play (PBT), and grant complimentary services in line with management policies.

4. Greet and converse with guests on the casino floor.

5. Provide assistance to guests both over the phone and in person.

6. Issue player cards and reprints as needed.

7. Promote the benefits and usage of the Dreamcatcher's card within the Player's Club.

8. Clearly communicate all marketing initiatives, promotions, and amenities available to guests.

9. Assist in resolving guest inquiries and issues.

10. Coordinate sign-ups for Slot and/or Table Games tournaments.

11. Sell tickets for events and manage cash transactions during the process.

12. Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution; or six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Strong skills in guest service, public relations, conflict resolution, and both oral and written communication.

Pay range:
$16.00 to $20.80 per hour

*Shift Differential: Non-exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

This workplace is not smoke-free. Although advanced air filtration systems are in place, cigarette smoke may be present in the work environment.
