Job Summary

Brown Golf is seeking a part-time Golf Operations Attendant to join our team at Foxfire Resort and Golf in North Carolina. As a Golf Operations Attendant, you will be responsible for creating a positive experience for our guests and members by providing exceptional service and ensuring the overall upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Assist with the upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
  • Tournament Support: Assist in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Guest Services: Provide sincere and courteous service to all guests, including bag handling, club cleaning, and other services as needed.
  • Cart Maintenance: Prepare golf carts for play, maintain the cart staging area, and ensure the cart storage area and cart wash down area are clean and organized.
  • Player Support: Assist players with course policy, cart policy, speed of play, and other matters as needed.
  • Range Maintenance: Present the practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, and maintain ball inventory throughout the day.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of golfers renting clubs and services provided.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests renting golf clubs, cleaning rental clubs upon return, and assisting with food and beverage activities.
  • Club Cleaning: Clean golfers' clubs upon completion of play.
  • Safe Work Practices: Incorporate safe work practices in job performance and maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Requirements
  • Education: Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly stands, walks, and sits. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels. Frequently uses hands to finger feel or handle; reaches with arms. Frequently talks and hears. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
