Position Highlights

As part of our growing team, you will engage in projects across the country, contributing to the development of innovative models for major project delivery. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal counsel to public and private sector clients on projects nationwide across various industry sectors, including transportation, airports, water, and renewable energy.
  • Draft and review procurement and construction documents, utilizing alternative project delivery methods such as public-private partnerships (P3) and design-build.
  • Develop innovative project delivery structures tailored to specific performance, funding, and community needs.
  • Engage directly with clients and counterparties, fostering collaborative relationships without hierarchical constraints.

Qualifications for Success

  • A minimum of 5 years of substantial and relevant transactional experience in infrastructure, transportation, real estate, and public finance.
  • Exceptional drafting, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • A law degree from an accredited institution and admission to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction (New York, California, Texas, Colorado, or Florida preferred).

Preferred Attributes

  • A demonstrated commitment to serving a predominantly public-sector client base in infrastructure project delivery.
  • Experience drafting contracts and procurement documents beyond standard form agreements.
  • Familiarity with various methods of construction and project delivery procurement, including design-build and public-private partnerships.
  • Prior experience in a law firm setting and advising public sector clients.
  • Ability to manage junior attorneys and maintain client relationships effectively.

Position Details

This is a full-time position with an annual expectation of 1,600 billable hours, including unlimited approved pro bono hours. The salary range is competitive and commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
