Accounts Receivable Manager

Vaco is collaborating with a dynamic manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist. This pivotal role is essential for ensuring the prompt and precise recording of payments related to products and services rendered. The specialist will engage in posting receipts, addressing discrepancies, and upholding financial documentation in accordance with corporate guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Issue reminders for invoices and liaise with clients to secure payments
  • Record customer payments and balance the accounts receivable ledger
  • Examine and rectify account discrepancies and deductions
  • Oversee collections by evaluating payment arrangements, histories, and credit limits
  • Create and compile financial reports concerning receivables
  • Assist in month-end closing activities and provide necessary audit documentation
  • Contribute to additional projects as required

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years in Accounts Receivable
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferably with college coursework in accounting)
  • Strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality
  • Proficient in MS Office and accounting software
  • Familiarity with GAAP and regulatory standards
  • Exceptional data entry, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
