Position Overview: Vaco is collaborating with a dynamic manufacturing firm to identify a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role is crucial for ensuring the prompt and precise recording of payments for products and services. The specialist will handle the posting of receipts, address discrepancies, and uphold financial documentation in accordance with company standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Issue invoice reminders and engage with clients to secure payments.
  • Record customer payments and reconcile the accounts receivable ledger.
  • Examine and resolve account discrepancies and deductions.
  • Oversee collections by assessing payment plans, histories, and credit limits.
  • Compile and summarize financial reports regarding receivables.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes and provide necessary audit documentation.
  • Support various projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
  • High School Diploma or GED; college coursework in accounting is preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
  • Familiarity with GAAP and regulatory standards.
  • Exceptional data entry, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
