Pay Grade: 8 - Non Exempt
Position Overview: We are in search of a dedicated and professional individual with exceptional organizational and customer service abilities to become a vital part of our Catering team.
Under the supervision of the Director of Catering and the Catering Operations Manager, the Administrative Assistant will be accountable for the precise and prompt execution of daily administrative tasks within the Catering office. This role involves planning a diverse range of events in collaboration with clients and ensuring seamless communication with Catering personnel. The Administrative Assistant is expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and deliver outstanding customer service consistently.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
- Demonstrated business math skills.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Creative and adaptable mindset.
- Capability to interact professionally and amicably with individuals at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications: While not all candidates may meet every preferred qualification, the ideal applicant will possess many of the following:
- Relevant experience in an office setting.
- Familiarity with EMS or similar event management software.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality/Restaurant Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Fluency in English.
- Demonstrated sales experience.
- Exhibits a professional demeanor.
