Position Overview:

The Talent Strategy Consultant serves as a vital resource within the Human Resources domain, leveraging expertise in workforce development, career progression, data analysis, and business insight to design, align, and implement effective talent solutions. This role encompasses both Strategic Workforce Planning, aimed at long-term talent acquisition aligned with organizational goals, and Operational Workforce Planning, focused on immediate staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborates with operational leaders to facilitate strategic workforce planning sessions, aiming to identify and address talent shortages. Aids in the ongoing development and maintenance of the organizational workforce strategy.

2) Operational Workforce Planning: Works alongside operational leaders to assess staffing requirements, providing recommendations for schedule adjustments and position management.

3) Workforce Development: Designs, coordinates, and oversees workforce training initiatives, engaging with both internal stakeholders and external educational institutions.

4) Funding for Workforce Development: Engages with various entities to secure financial resources for workforce training programs, including assistance with grant applications and financial administration.

5) Career Advancement: Acts as a case manager for employees pursuing career growth, collaborating with Talent Management and Talent Acquisition to promote internal mobility. Engages with recruiters to identify current job openings and may recommend internal candidates.

6) Data Analysis: Analyzes and interprets essential HR, financial, and productivity metrics to support workforce planning efforts. Collaborates with data analysts and HRMS team members to gather and prepare relevant data.

7) Career Path Development: Specializes in the creation and maintenance of career pathways, ensuring alignment with market standards and collaborating on promotional initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Experience:

Minimum of three years in roles that provide transferable skills, ideally within human resources, healthcare operations, or workforce development.

Essential Skills:

Strong business acumen, group facilitation skills, proficiency in data analysis, intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other office software, advanced understanding of relevant HR systems, and the ability to interpret financial statements.
