Position Title: Culinary Operations Supervisor

The Longue Vue Club, a distinguished private country club, is in search of a skilled Culinary Operations Supervisor to enhance our exceptional team. Core Responsibilities:

  • Order Management: Systematically manage and prioritize food orders, ensuring effective communication with kitchen staff to guarantee a smooth transition of dishes from preparation to service.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous standards for dish presentation, portion control, and consistency, in alignment with the directives of the Executive Chef.
  • Staff Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the efforts of dishwashers and other support staff, ensuring the kitchen remains clean and organized.
  • Sanitation and Supply Oversight: Ensure the kitchen meets cleanliness standards, approve the procurement of cleaning supplies, and uphold hygiene protocols.
  • Equipment Oversight: Manage the maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment, ensuring all tools are operational.
  • Event Setup: Direct the preparation of buffet setups, ensuring all components are meticulously arranged and presented.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A solid background in high-end dining establishments or private clubs, with roles such as Chef, Sous Chef, or Manager.
  • Leadership Experience: 2-3 years of experience in supervising kitchen operations and personnel.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of kitchen operations, food safety regulations, and inventory control.
  • Character: A strong passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to upholding the highest service standards.
