Position Overview:

As the Batching Operations Supervisor, you will lead a dedicated team in executing daily production tasks. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the blending of raw materials and ensuring the timely delivery of products to the packaging area. You will guide team members in handling food ingredients, adhering to recipes, and maintaining food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the setup of the ingredient preparation and batching areas.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams for the efficient delivery of raw materials.
  • Supervise the preparation of ingredients, ensuring quality and safety.
  • Oversee the operation of processing equipment and train team members.
  • Lead sanitation efforts and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Prepare and review documentation related to food safety and production.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding goals and progress.
  • Support the development of team members for career advancement.

Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of experience in food processing, with a focus on complex equipment.
  • 3-4 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and some weekends.
  • Strong attendance and time management skills.
  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
  • Competent in basic math and technology use.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and maneuver heavy carts.
  • Capacity to work in various environmental conditions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain focus on tasks.
