We are seeking a Coatings Supervisor to enhance our dynamic team. This role is essential in overseeing the coatings department, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm

Essential Job Requirements
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and stand or bend for extended periods.
- Work Hours: Full-time commitment (40 hours/week).
- Personal Attributes: Strong communication skills, positive teamwork attitude, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the department supervisor in managing all operational aspects of the coatings department.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and manage supply requisitions as necessary.
- Produce components in line with established safety, quality, and cost standards.
- Help schedule daily workloads and delegate tasks to team members as required.
- Conduct Lock out/Tag out procedures when necessary.
- Oversee safety practices and eliminate hazardous conditions.
- Support the training and development of department personnel.
- Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with ISO quality systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory control and oversee shipping and receiving processes.
- Document and maintain a monthly Scrap Log.
- Complete tasks independently and maintain a tidy work area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of maintenance and upkeep of coatings equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and program coatings machinery.
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
- Strong math skills and ability to use measuring tools accurately.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to organize workflows.
- Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a coatings-related role.
