Customer Service Operations Manager

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Operations Manager to join our team at Food Lion. As a key member of our front-end operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be working closely with our customer service team to ensure that all customers receive top-notch service, whether they are checking out or simply asking for assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide fast, easy, flexible, and friendly service to customers while engaging them to create a positive shopping experience.
- Smile and greet each customer, using their name whenever possible, and avoid personal conversations with other associates when customers are present.
- Maintain knowledge of office procedures, including cash reports, register checkups, deposits, Western Union, money orders, and Coinstar.
- Ensure store office functions are completed accurately and on time, communicating any cash variances to the Assistant Customer Service Manager.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school graduate or equivalent.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- The ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
- The ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center.
