Job Overview

ALTAQUIP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Center Operations Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the facility, ensuring production levels are maintained, customer service is maximized, and work flow is managed through the facility.

The Service Center Operations Manager will also be responsible for managing the facility in the absence of the Service Center Manager, supervising Technicians, Administrative Specialists and Drivers, and overseeing materials and inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain targeted production goals
  • Manage aging units
  • Optimize logistics routes to improve customer service
  • Manage warranty claims and consistency
  • Process improvement documentation and adherence
  • Supervise team members and ensure safe daily duties
Management Responsibilities
  • Process flow management
  • Ship-ins, unpack and repack
  • Counseling and setting improvement plans for team members
  • Coach and educate team members as needed
  • Customer Service via phone calls, walk ins and store visits
  • Opening and/or closing shop
  • Report Management; printing, posting and explaining reports
  • Cross train in all functional areas: Administration, Materials, Service Representative
  • Train new employees and cover open positions as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role with a focus on operations management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to move and lift up to 50lbs
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. ALTAQUIP offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
