Payment Processing Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Payment Processing Representative to join our team at Washington Trust Bank. As a Payment Processing Representative, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to check processing, cash letters, and electronic file transmissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process checks and other financial transactions with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Prepare and transmit cash letters and electronic files
- Balance and research processed transactions
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve questions and issues
Requirements
- Successful work experience in a deadline-oriented environment requiring high accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software systems
- Effective verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to read PC screens and operate keyboards efficiently
