Job Overview

Position: Information Systems Technician

HIROTEC Manufacturing America is a prominent entity within the HIROTEC Group, which is renowned for its innovative solutions in the automotive sector. Our operations span multiple countries, providing essential components such as body-in-white closures and exhaust systems.

We are currently in search of an Information Systems Technician to enhance our technical support team.

The Information Systems Technician will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive technical assistance to staff regarding their computer hardware and software requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Training personnel on effective usage of hardware and software applications.
  • Performing updates on operating systems and software applications as necessary.
  • Managing telephone systems and voicemail functionalities.
  • Processing service requests through a help desk platform.
  • Troubleshooting both software and hardware issues.
  • Offering recommendations for system enhancements and procedural improvements.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned in alignment with the company's operational goals.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess an Associate's degree in Information Systems Technology or a related field, or hold an MCSA certification or higher. A minimum of two years of relevant experience with a solid understanding of various hardware and software systems is required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a strong customer service orientation, are essential. While CompTIA A+ or similar certification is preferred, it is not mandatory.
