Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Computer Operations Specialist to join our team at Light & Wonder. As a key member of our Gaming Operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, data processing, and system monitoring to support our gaming operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Respond to calls from gaming agents, terminal operators, and field service personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
- Data Processing: Complete computer system activities to support gaming machine installs, software upgrades, and related service calls.
- System Monitoring: Monitor the L&W Connexus Video central communication system 24/7 to ensure seamless operations.
- Reporting: Generate system and productivity reports to track key performance indicators.
- Data Entry: Update turnover logs with unusual system occurrences and perform other data entry routines as needed.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate, manage, and execute scheduled projects as calls are received.
- Troubleshooting: Work with callers to resolve communication problems and provide technical support.
Requirements
- Customer Service Experience: Strong customer service skills with a proven track record of providing excellent service in a call center environment.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Data Center Experience: Some experience in a data center or computer operations environment is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Excel and experience with Unix, Win OS, SQL, and Linux are a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
