Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, MI. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Neuro/Ortho department, utilizing evidence-based practices and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with patients and families to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting patient-centered care and empowerment.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a range of medical conditions, including neurological and orthopedic disorders.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, physicians, and patients to ensure seamless care coordination and patient safety.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with a commitment to pursuing a BSN within six years of hire date.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
