We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Department at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Department, adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with cardiovascular conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices and staying up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying current with industry trends and best practices.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 12 months of hire date.
- BLS Provider certification from the AHA within 1 month of hire date.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (AAS) or RN Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
