Job Overview:
Manufacturing Equipment Specialists are integral team members within their designated sectors, demonstrating expertise in the Making/Packing domains. Their primary responsibilities include ensuring operational efficiency, adherence to production standards, product excellence, and fostering continuous enhancement.

As part of a dedicated team, they play a crucial role in the effective manufacturing of high-quality products in the necessary volumes.

Operate and transition specified machinery within the assigned sector. Must possess the capability to instruct and/or execute the tasks of fellow team members as required.

Desired Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, particularly with various packaging and processing machinery is preferred.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and/or schedules.
- A strong desire to engage and grow within a manufacturing setting with opportunities for career progression.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills to support site goals.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all assigned tasks and responsibilities within the production line or area.
- Follow personal safety protocols and operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Evaluate equipment reliability and perform routine preventive maintenance, repairs, adjustments, and troubleshooting of malfunctions.
- Take ownership of product quality by conducting all standard quality checks and related duties.
- Carry out quality control tasks such as metal checks, inspection of date codes, item numbers, and CCP and OPRP checks as necessary.
- Implement corrective measures to address issues at the root cause level.
- Proficiently operate a computer and utilize standard desktop systems.
- Load packaging materials, resolve jams, reset faults, perform product quality checks, report issues, and maintain area GMPs.
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
- Standing on a concrete surface
- Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes, and uniform)
- Engaging in bending, stooping, twisting, turning, standing for extended periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift duties require OSHA certification and frequent getting on and off.
