This position entails a comprehensive understanding of maintenance protocols, focusing on troubleshooting, emergency responses, and preventive maintenance for various building systems and equipment. As a vital member of a self-directed work team, the technician will engage in multi-craft tasks, including equipment repairs and general maintenance duties, while collaborating with licensed trades as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety protocols, including job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Maintain and repair all facility and production-related equipment in accordance with company standards.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Conduct planned maintenance on building systems while being responsive to client needs.
  • Utilize troubleshooting techniques on mechanical systems, including HVAC and hydraulic systems, to promptly address issues.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance inspections.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures, manage spare parts inventory, and communicate with stock personnel regarding inventory usage.
  • Assist in the installation and inspection of new equipment.
  • Support project and renovation efforts by collaborating with co-workers, contractors, and engineers.
  • Comply with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety practices.
  • Respond to work orders with a focus on customer service and regulatory compliance.
  • Propose improvements to maintenance methods and equipment performance.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to provide energy efficiency solutions.
  • Operate various tools and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain a structured schedule while demonstrating flexibility to meet customer needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Three years of maintenance experience in relevant trades or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to operate aerial lifts at heights of 30 feet or more.
  • This position does not provide sponsorship for work authorization.

Additional Information:

  • Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
  • A valid Driver's License may be required.
  • Ability to obtain a security access badge is necessary.
  • Flexibility for various shifts and schedules may be required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Professional interaction with clients is essential.

Special Requirements:

  • Personal Protective Equipment, including steel-toe shoes and safety glasses, must be worn as required.
  • Ability to manage job-related stressors effectively is essential.
