As a Direct Support Professional, your primary responsibilities will be carried out in a private residence with a 1-on-1 client ratio. Your duties may include:

  • In-Home Assistance – Aiding clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, personal grooming, laundry, monitoring health indicators, bathing, toileting, and basic technology assistance
  • Engagement Activities – Participating in enjoyable activities like games, arts and crafts, and accompanying clients to appointments, shopping trips, and errands
  • Community Building – Establishing a positive and secure atmosphere for clients through effective communication with families and colleagues

To be eligible for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • A valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation with appropriate insurance

  • Flexibility and willingness to work evenings and weekends, providing care with respect, patience, and compassion
