Product Support Specialist

Job Summary:

This position provides technical operating and service advice to customers using diesel, gas, electric, and hand-operated personnel and material lifting equipment manufactured by Terex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proficient customer support and technical expertise to facilitate service advice, product support, and service training to internal and external customers.
  • Assist customers with their service training needs and information.
  • Assist all customers with the safe and proper operation of Aerial Work Platform (AWP) material and lifting equipment.
  • Requires up to 70% travel in the territory of Florida.
  • 3+ years of related experience in field service, operations management, product support, shop floor management, OEM support, technical customer support, or similar.

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment.
  • Excellent learning and training skills.
  • Strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Job knowledge and experience in the AWP industry, and/or related experience in field-based customer product support.
  • Proficient in the use of equipment, tools, and technology needed to troubleshoot and repair AWP products.
  • Proficient in and able to demonstrate the proper and safe operation of AWP control systems and products.
