Key Responsibilities: Your Role
Conduct audits of driver Daily Logs to ensure accuracy and compliance with Hours of Service regulations. Verify that drivers adhere to the guidelines established in section 395 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
Review daily Driver's Record of Duty Status (RODS) to confirm compliance with company standards and FMCSR; identify any discrepancies or falsified records.
Prepare and present findings to management and implement corrective actions according to company policy when necessary.
Demonstrate proficiency in editing E-logs as needed, whether through ACD calls, emails, or paper logs.
Address all Log Support inquiries effectively.
Conduct related research and assign driving events accordingly.
Maintain a positive work environment by communicating and acting in a manner that supports business operations to meet company expectations.
Perform additional tasks as directed by leadership.
Qualifications: What You Bring
A minimum of one year of experience in transportation with a foundational understanding of Hours of Service regulations is preferred.
High School diploma or GED required.
Must possess strong attention to detail; basic proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and AS400; have investigative skills; excellent verbal and written communication abilities; analytical mindset; positive attitude; and high motivation. Familiarity with HOS rules and regulations is essential.
