**Exciting Opportunity for an Installation Assistant Manager**
Magnify is pleased to announce a new position available for an Assistant Manager specializing in installation services. This role is crucial in guiding our contracting partner's expanding team of Field Associates and Contractors.
As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee the execution of installation and repair tasks, ensuring that job sites are thoroughly inspected before and after each project. You will serve as the primary liaison for all communications between contractors, crew members, and clients, while also managing warranty-related matters.
Key Details:
- Standard working hours are 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend shifts.
- Prior experience in installation, particularly with flooring materials such as carpet and tiles, is essential.
- Leadership experience is required, as you will be responsible for supervising a team of 5 or more employees.
- Bilingual candidates are highly preferred.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Recruiting, onboarding, and providing ongoing support for Field Associates.
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of Field Associates, including handling any necessary disciplinary actions.
- Collaborating with Field Managers to ensure they receive adequate support and development.
- Managing schedules and directing daily operations to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Recruiting and assessing contractor performance on assigned projects.
- Tracking and verifying repairs or new installations carried out by contractor teams.
- Acting as the primary manager and point of contact for all contractors and crew members involved in projects.
- Coordinating and administering testing on job sites to ensure compliance with guidelines and codes.
- Conducting pre-project inspections to identify potential issues and ensuring that work can be completed effectively, as well as performing post-project inspections for quality assurance.
- Addressing all warranty issues by conducting inspections to determine the appropriate resolution for claims.
- Communicating the outcomes of pre- and post-inspections to Warranty Managers and Superintendents to maintain positive working relationships.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in wood, carpet, and tile flooring installation is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service.
- Experience in contractor and construction environments.
- Knowledge of linear and square footage measurement and calculations.
- Familiarity with safety protocols relevant to job sites and construction.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, though it is not a requirement.
