About the Position:
∙ Job Title: Manufacturing Associate
∙ Compensation: $21/Hour
∙ Work Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM. Overtime may occur during peak seasons from spring to fall, including 8 hours on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Construct trusses and gables utilizing hand tools such as hammers and tape measures.
  2. Operate radial arm saws effectively.
  3. Manually stack wood as it exits the machinery.
  4. Assist in finger joining and stacking processes.
  5. Ensure accurate packing and handling of orders.
  6. Monitor inventory levels through daily counts.
  7. Verify overdue orders against incoming materials.
  8. Utilize forklifts for unloading and transporting materials as necessary.
  9. Adapt to various areas of the plant as required.
  10. Maintain cleanliness in the work area.
Qualifications:
  1. Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
  2. Capability to perform the physical tasks associated with the role.
  3. Forklift experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  4. Basic computer proficiency.
Physical Demands:
  1. Regular lifting, pulling, and pushing of up to 50lbs; heavier items will require team assistance.
