Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to join our team at E.A. Sween. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily production activities of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that we meet our quality and productivity goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning and Control: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand, ensuring that we have the necessary resources and materials to meet our production goals.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that our products meet our quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary materials and supplies to meet our production needs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to ensure that it is in good working order.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's degree in a related field (e.g. business, operations management).
  • Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a production environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and experience with inventory management and quality control procedures.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
