Restaurant Operations Supervisor

The Assistant Manager serves as the operational leader within the restaurant, concentrating on financial performance, customer satisfaction, team development, and management of operations. This role assists the General Manager in overseeing the daily functions of a single restaurant, aiming to achieve key performance metrics. The Assistant Manager works under the guidance of the General Manager and directly supervises a team of Hourly Shift Coordinators and Team Members.
Key Responsibilities:
- FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE
Oversees inventory expenses and ensures proper inventory levels through regular inspections conducted daily, weekly, and monthly.
Manages the ordering and receipt of inventory supplies.
Keeps an updated record of all restaurant assets.
Ensures that preventative maintenance of the restaurant facilities and equipment is carried out effectively.
Adheres to all cash handling and security protocols.
- CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
Inspires and guides team members to surpass customer expectations by delivering prompt, accurate, and friendly service.
- TEAM DEVELOPMENT
Offers coaching and constructive feedback to enhance the capabilities and performance of the restaurant team.
- OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
Leads the restaurant team in the efficient preparation and sale of menu items.
Ensures that the restaurant maintains operational and brand standards.
Fulfills the responsibilities of Hourly Shift Coordinator when required.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least eighteen years old.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required; 2 years of college education is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a quick service restaurant environment, with management experience being advantageous.
- Basic understanding of P&L management and interpretation.
- Proven leadership abilities.
- Solid understanding of customer service principles.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Capability to work extended and/or irregular shifts as necessary.
