Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace to minimize risks.
  • Oversee, guide, and contribute to the upkeep of HVAC systems and related operational frameworks, including computerized maintenance management systems that facilitate work order processing and maintenance strategies.
  • Configure and supervise the Building Management System (BMS) to promote energy-efficient scheduling and operation of HVAC and ancillary systems, enhancing performance and cost savings.
  • Manage, monitor, repair, and sustain the facility's mechanical, plumbing, irrigation, environmental control, emergency power, electrical, HVAC, and lighting systems to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
  • Educate maintenance staff on performing temperature adjustments, responding to alerts, and resetting systems to restore proper functionality.
  • Confirm completion of maintenance tasks and accurately log data into a tracking system.
  • Recruit, schedule, and oversee maintenance personnel.
  • Deliver safety and operational training as necessary to the team.
  • Manage projects as assigned by upper management.
  • Supervise contracted maintenance services.
  • Participate in professional development training sessions as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills

  • Ability to follow and provide verbal and written instructions while effectively communicating with others.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients, employees, and other stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, bending, lifting, and walking, with the ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments as required.
  • Proficient in standard office software applications.
Education & Experience Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's Degree in HVAC or related fields preferred.
  • Experience in a similar facility management role is advantageous.
  • Ability to coordinate complex logistics for large-scale public events.
  • Capable of multitasking, thriving under pressure, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
