Your Role:

As a Cybersecurity Engineer on our project, you will deliver cybersecurity engineering services that align with the client's objectives.
You will collaborate with teams to pinpoint the optimal blend of tools and methodologies to transform customer requirements and future aspirations into actionable plans that ensure secure and effective solutions.

Innovation is key; therefore, you will explore new methodologies, move beyond traditional models, and adapt to industry advancements.

Your leadership will guide the team through a critical systems design approach, offering alternatives and customizing solutions to balance security imperatives with mission objectives.

Your expertise in systems engineering will be applied to:

  • Requirements analysis and allocation
  • Architecture analysis and design
  • Technology assessment
  • Metrics development

Additionally, you will provide operational support, including tool testing in real-world environments and coordinating issue resolution with vendors and relevant personnel.

You will employ advanced methods, theories, and research techniques to investigate and resolve complex project requirements and technical specifications for software development initiatives, overseeing full life cycle projects or significant phases of highly visible technical solution programs.

This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance the security landscape of the Intelligence Community (IC). Your technical proficiency will be crucial in assisting clients in overcoming their most challenging obstacles by integrating secure practices. You will also have the chance to expand your skill set while addressing the unique challenges faced by our customers.


Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, test engineering, software development lifecycles, or system design, implementation, or administration
  • Experience with mobile or wireless technologies and networks
  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders across various organizations
  • Knowledge of software vulnerabilities, exploits, or cybersecurity
  • Familiarity with operating systems at the administrative or kernel level
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:
It would be advantageous to have:

  • Experience with Android, iOS, or Linux operating systems
  • Proficiency in tools such as KaliLinux, Wireshark, IDApro, or Docker
  • Experience with Python programming
  • Background in software development and code review
  • Understanding of the Intelligence Community's mission, vision, goals, and values
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering

Clearance Requirements:


Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's unique combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 annually. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this role and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.

Work Model:


Our people-first culture emphasizes the importance of flexibility and collaboration, whether that occurs in person or remotely. If this position is designated as remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site facility. If this position is classified as onsite, you will collaborate with colleagues and clients in person as necessary for the specific role.
